A Night Under the Stars: Capturing the Beauty of the Chihuahuan Desert for Nocheluna

At prolific, we are always excited to take on new challenges and push the boundaries of what is possible. When we were commissioned to capture the stunning beauty of the Chihuahuan desert for a top secret project, we knew we had an opportunity to create something truly special.

Our client, Nocheluna, a new brand that would be promoted by the legendary Lenny Kravitz, wanted to showcase the unique flavors and traditions of their sotol-based spirits in a way that was as captivating as it was authentic. We were tasked with creating a series of astrolapses that would capture the beauty of the desert landscape and the sotol plants that thrive within it.

After a brief meeting with the ad Director and D.P. in a fancy hotel in downtown Chihuahua, we set out on a 9-hour journey with our production team to our final destination in the Chihuahuan desert, searching for the perfect spot to set up our cameras and capture the magic of the night sky.

Once we arrived, we set up our equipment, including a Sony Alpha 1 camera, an Edelkrone slider, two Canon 5D Mark III, and Syrp Gear for Motion Control, and prepared to spend the entire night capturing the beauty of the desert. With a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for the natural world, we worked tirelessly to capture the perfect shot untill sunrise.

The result was a breathtaking series of astrolapses and shots that captured the beauty and magic of the Chihuahuan desert. Our work was featured in a Director's Cut video and was a crucial part of Nocheluna's successful launch campaign. We are proud to have been a part of this exciting project and look forward to working with Acitron Studio and other clients to capture the beauty of the world around us.
